SERVICING

Servicing is a nominal charge of £85 on 2 strokes and 4 strokes plus plugs/ parts if required and oil/filters etc. (grease, pump oil etc included on 2 strokes). It takes between 2 to 2 1/2 hours for a proper service. We have the proper gear like oil sump pump etc. 

2 strokes usually £85 inclusive (+plugs if needed)

4 strokes usually £85+ oil/filter (approx £50) +plugs if needed

Each manufacturer and even model has its own weak spots to look for and half the game is knowing these things to spot on each one and is down to experience. 

This is in addition to usual features such as:

• oil/ filter change (4 strokes only)
• check internal engine condition- compression check,
• trolling speed,
• engine revving sound/ performance,
• rave valves/ powervalves
• abnormal noises,
• sacrificial points,
• engine mounts,
• check for leakages, 
• check for damaged hoses,
• check/ clean corrosion on wiring etc,
• check cables, adjustments,
• some models are known to block within specific cooling hoses,
• jetpump/ impellor condition,
• etc.
